I am currently looking to tutor students in mathematics or programming. I can teach
I am especially interested in working with students on proof-writing, which is a subject that is traditionally ignored in highschool, and required in college. I have read and written a lot of proofs, and I have a good idea of what makes a good proof and what makes a bad one. If you are a talented math student coming from a highschool that did not provide proof-based math, the transition to proof-based math in college can be very difficult, and I hope that I can help with that.
In terms of credentials, I graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and I received Magna Cum Laude and honors in my major. I am currently enrolled in the Master’s program at Utrecht University for mathematics. I have been a TA/Grader for Algorithms, Information Theory, Probability, and Topics in Algebra. I also worked at the Math Resource Center, which provides walk-in tutoring for Calculus and Linear Algebra.
